a sunny day.

It’s pretty much always a sunny day in southern California. I’m staring out the window of this empty room that is my office at mkb design group. A slow morning, as there isn’t much going on right now. I’m thinking about lunch, but haven’t committed to getting up out of my chair yet. My sorely neglected blog was crying out as I was checking the site stats for the mkb site I’m working on.

[Hang on a second, my fiance is calling...]

Okay, so I thought I’d devote a few seconds to my lonely blog. Only when I’m actually writing on here do I realize how I miss it sometimes. Often times I think we just forget about the beautiful things in life because we get so busy with the mundane. However there is beauty also to be found in the mundane. All I’m saying is that we have to stop and participate in joys that are found in our passions. May we all be found working diligently at what we are passionate about. As John Muir said,

“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread”

Planning is a huge word on my tongue these days. And typically Wedding has been preceding it. Kristen and I have taken a certain direction with our planning that I am really enjoying. Mostly that there is going to be a personal touch with hopefully every aspect of it. Be it something we make ourselves, or simply something that is arranged in a way that is specific of and characteristic of us. It’s a lot fun. Can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

The thought of lunch is growing in my mind, or maybe it’s the thought of my post-lunch coffee that I’m really trying to get to. Either way, farewell for now.
